About Pacific Song Competition
Pacific Song Competition is a community-inspired grass roots song competition. The competition asks for original songs from songwriters and performers in 53 countries situated across the Pacific Rim. Formed in 2012, the competition searches for the most popular song across the region, as voted for by an online public vote and a Jury in each country.
The search for Juries and Judges in each country begins in April of each year, with the call for Entries in July. Each country will begin judging their national entries from early October. The winning song from each country will then compete in the semi-finals in October before the Grand Final Gala Evening held in mid-November each year.
The Pacific Song Competition runs from 15th April – Saturday 16 November 2013.
